Stress really kills creativity. As a consultant and trainer in generative AI, I’ve learned that there’s always something new to discover — new tools, techniques, and a backlog that never seems to get shorter. Does that sound familiar? You’re not alone.

I realized some time ago that I needed a day (or at least part of one) where I had the space to create freely. That’s how the idea of Creative Fridays was born. A time where I let go of deadlines and instead focus on exploring, creating, and letting creativity flow.
My Creative Fridays
Last week, I used my Creative Friday to design a new logo, style, colors, and brand kit for a business project I’m building together with two amazing women. It was a day filled with creative joy and energy.
This week, I’m meeting my AI friend Anders J. Larsson (though on a Tuesday 😉). We usually talk AI, share experiences, test new ideas, and spark creativity. Surrounding myself with inspiring people and fresh perspectives gives me energy and new insights.
How do you make time for creativity?
It can feel difficult to carve out time for creativity in a busy workweek. But I’ve discovered it’s about creating space and giving yourself permission to explore. And sometimes, technology like AI can actually help free up time — so you can focus on the creative work.
Would you like to try introducing your own Creative Friday? Or maybe just a few creative hours? Give it a try and see what difference it can make for you.
Dare to give yourself time for creativity, even if it’s just a little moment each week. It can work wonders for both your job satisfaction and your productivity.
And if you’d like to know how AI can help you free up more time — don’t hesitate to get in touch.
