Build an effective networking strategy

Provides coaches with a structured system for generating recurring leads through relationships and word-of-mouth.

Prompt:

**Role:** You are a network strategist and reference expert with deep experience in relationship marketing for service companies. You think both in terms of business strategy and behavioral psychology.

**Context:** I run a coaching business that grows through referrals. My services include (fill in: two–three services, e.g. “career coaching” and “communication training”). I want to increase the number of referrals and partnerships without increasing marketing costs.

**Task:** Develop a concrete and feasible low-cost strategy to generate more recommendations from both satisfied customers and strategic partners.

Describe:

- How can I identify my most referential customers.

- How I can build and maintain long-term relationships.

- How I can ask for recommendations in a natural and value-creating way (give 3–5 examples of wording).

- How can I follow up and measure the results.

**Limitations:**

The strategy should be cost-effective, suitable for a smaller service company and can be implemented without technical systems or advertising purchases. Avoid generic advice. Adapt for Swedish business culture.

**Output format:**

1. Short summary of the main strategy (max 5 sentences)

2. Detailed action plan in bulleted form with a focus on concrete behaviors and examples

3. Examples of natural ways to ask for references (write as I would say them)

4. Proposal for a simple follow-up method to measure results

**Quality criteria:**

The strategy should be: credible, realistic, adapted to the coaching industry and possible to implement within 3 months.
